University of Limpopo (UL) Libraries Graduate Internship 2025

The University of Limpopo invites applications from suitably qualified graduates for the Libraries Graduate Internship 2025.

Stipend: R5 000 per month (Total-Cost-to-Company)


Internship Overview

The Libraries Graduate Internship provides hands-on training in library and information services or financial administration within the library context. Successful candidates will work under the guidance of experienced professionals, participating in various operations to develop workplace competencies.


Minimum Requirements

  • NQF Level 6 Diploma in Library and Information Studies or a Finance-related qualification
  • Completed qualification from a recognised institution
  • Certified copies of qualifications must be submitted with the application

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and organise library resources (cataloguing, shelving, inventory)
  • Support library users with inquiries and resource access
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry and report generation
  • Contribute to financial record-keeping within library operations
  • Participate in library events, workshops, and outreach programmes
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure efficient service delivery
