UMP Online Application – Step-by-Step Process

NB: Before starting, ensure you have electronic copies (pdf, doc, docx, tiff, png, jpg, jpeg) of:

  • Certified copy of ID
  • Certified copy of Senior Certificate / NSC and other relevant documents
  • Proof of non-refundable application fee: R200 (RSA), R400 (SADC), R550 (International non-SADC)

Step 1: Click here to apply online, accept the application rules and click Continue.
Step 2: Enter your biographical information, click Next.
Step 3: Enter results details, add subjects, click Next.
Step 4: Enter educational institution details, click Next.
Step 5: Select 2 programme choices, click Add Qualification, then Next.
Step 6: Verify details, click Continue.
Step 7: Create a 5-digit PIN, tick both “I accept” boxes, click Submit Application.
Step 8: Upload documents (select “Yes” if ready, click Next).
Step 9: Click Load/View DocumentUpload DocumentChoose FileSave.
Step 10: After uploading all documents, click Complete Upload.
Step 11: View confirmation page – application complete.
