Wits Health Consortium invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for the HR Internship Programme 2023 / 2024.

About Wits Health Consortium: Wits Health Consortium (Pty) Limited (“WHC”) is a wholly-owned company of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, established to conduct contract or sponsored research, entrepreneurial, and philanthropic funded activities and services, including clinical services.
Job Purpose: The purpose of this internship is to provide administrative support to the Human Resources team and assist with a wide range of Human Resources related activities and tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities: Some of the key performance areas include:
- Compiling various HR-related documents such as contract renewals, maternity leave agreements, and certificates of service.
- Maintaining HR databases and records.
- Assisting with recruitment activities.
- Handling employee terminations.
- Preparing HR administration within deadlines.
Requirements:
- Required minimum education and training: Human Resources Degree/Diploma.
- Required minimum work experience: A minimum of six months working experience in a Human Resources field will be advantageous.
Desirable additional qualifications and skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- High level of integrity.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent planning and organizing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer service orientation and adaptability in a changing environment.
