Introduction

WSB Cares, the Corporate Social Investment arm of World Sports Betting, invites eligible ICT graduates to apply for the WSB Cares 2026 Bursary.

This bursary is specifically designed to assist ICT graduates who have completed their degrees but are unable to graduate or receive their qualification certificates due to outstanding tuition fees. The initiative aims to remove financial barriers that prevent talented graduates from fully accessing employment opportunities within the ICT sector.

About the Bursary Opportunity

The WSB Cares 2026 Bursary provides financial support to:

  • Settle outstanding tertiary tuition fees
  • Unlock graduation or certification
  • Enable graduates to formally receive their qualifications

This funding is aimed at supporting graduates in entering the ICT job market with confidence and without financial burdens holding them back.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Recently completed a Bachelorโ€™s degree in ICT
  • Have outstanding tuition fees preventing graduation or certification
  • Achieved a minimum 70% academic average
  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be an EE/AA student (Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply)

Degrees Funded

WSB Cares will fund the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Systems
  • Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT)
  • Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences in Application Development
  • Bachelor of Data Engineering
  • Or any related ICT degree

Required Documents

Applicants must submit PDF copies of the following documents:

  • Updated CV
  • Certified copy of South African ID (certified within the last 3 months)
  • Parent/Guardian proof of income (payslips, bank statements, or relevant letters issued within the last 3 months)
  • Certified copy of Parent/Guardian ID (certified within the last 3 months)
  • Latest academic record stamped by the institution (certified within the last 3 months)
  • Proof of outstanding tuition fees (statement of account)
  • Institutionโ€™s official banking details

Important Notes

  • All documents must be certified within the last 3 months.
  • Academic transcripts and tuition statements must bear the institutionโ€™s official stamp.

Incomplete applications may not be considered.
