Valterra Platinum is an integrated producer of platinum group metals and associated co-products.

Successful candidates will rotate between various mining operations in Limpopo and North West.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering
  • Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Mining Engineering

Additional Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Have achieved a minimum final overall academic average of 65%.
  • Have qualified within the past 24 months.
  • Have no more than 12 months of post-qualification work experience.

Geotechnical Engineering Graduate Programme (X1 Post)

Valterra Platinum is recruiting one graduate for its Geotechnical Engineering or Rock Engineering programme.

The successful candidate will rotate between the companyโ€™s mining operations.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Honours in Geology
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Mining Engineering

Additional Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Have achieved a minimum final overall academic average of 65%.

Applicants should hold an Honours qualification in one of the following fields:

  • Finance
  • Accounting
  • Financial Management
  • Actuarial Accounting
  • A related financial or accounting field
