Aveng Manufacturing seeks Finance and Human Resources Management Interns / graduates for 2017 / 2018 in Gauteng. The duration of this internship is 12 month internship. Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipends during their placement.

Duties & Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Provide Human Resources Administration and Support function to line management and employees
- Assist with maintenance of accurate and logical record keeping and filing
- Assist with the co-ordination and facilitation of recruitment and selection processes
- Assist with training and development co-ordination and administration
- Provide an administrative function to the team including diary management, report writing, presentation development, minute taking and coordination of allocated projects
- Works closely with business leaders to identify issues and opportunities and the people implications
- Assist in the implementation of change initiatives
Finance
- Preparation of standard monthly journals
- Assist with timeous processing and monitoring of factory floor information, production orders, job cards, scrap recording, downtime, wastage, stock revaluations
- Exposure to key elements of stock takes and recording thereof
- Prepare monthly accurate and reliable reports, scrap, reworks, and inventory
- Exposure to production costs, variances, STD bills of materials and routings, labour costs and variances, material costs and variances, inventory and analysis of gross margin to ensure accuracy
- Assist in preparation of budgets, analysis of actual versus budget and seeking explanations from budget holders for explanations
- Be deployed and be allocated on-going tasks by all within the Finance department
