EThekwini Maritime Cluster (EMC) invites applications to apply for internships/graduates programme for 2018 / 2019 in Durban. This opportunity is open to South African Citizens aged between 18 – 35 years. Preference will be given to Black Male and Female candidates. Amonthly stipend will be paid to successful candidates over the duration of the internship / graduate Programme.

About the Programme
In collaboration with its stakeholders, EThekwini Maritime Cluster (EMC) has embarked on an enterprise development programme with an intention to positively contribute towards development of skills and sound enterprise practices in the Maritime industry. This will be done by empowering unemployed graduates who are interested in being entrepreneurs through a structured training and mentoring programme. EMC has four programmes: Enterprise Development, Skills Development, Industry Promotion and Marine Manufacturing. The Incubation and Acceleration Programme fall under Enterprise Development, with an intention to facilitate training and mentoring of the unemployed graduates to become entrepreneurs in the maritime industry.
