About the Guardrisk Learnership Programme
The Guardrisk Learnership Programme is aimed at unemployed young people who want to gain workplace experience, develop industry-related skills and build a career within the insurance sector.
Successful learners will take part in both classroom learning and practical workplace training while completing the requirements of the learnership programme.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have passed Grade 12 / NQF Level 4.
- Have achieved at least 60% in Pure Mathematics or 70% in Mathematical Literacy.
- Have achieved at least 65% in English.
- Be currently unemployed.
- Be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Not have participated in a learnership before.
What Learners Will Do
Successful learners will be expected to:
- Participate in classroom sessions.
- Complete practical on-the-job training.
- Learn Guardrisk products, policies and procedures.
- Compile a portfolio of evidence for submission to SETA.
- Maintain workplace learning logbooks.
- Complete formative and summative assessments.
- Learn to use company systems and operational processes.
- Assist with client and stakeholder relationships.
- Manage client queries.
- Work according to service-level agreements.
- Help improve turnaround times and service quality.
- Contribute to excellent client service.
