Northam Platinum’s Booysendal operation is offering three Learnership (18.2) opportunities for candidates interested in developing skills for the mining, mineral-processing and engineering sectors.

Mining Learnership (18.2)
Reference Number: BDHR19/26
Applicants interested in the Mining Learnership must have:
- Grade 12 or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
- Mathematics.
- Physical Science.
Applicants must also provide certified copies of their qualifications and academic results.
The programme provides an opportunity for successful candidates to develop knowledge and practical workplace competence within a mining environment.
Metallurgy Learnership (18.2)

Applicants for the Metallurgy Learnership must have:
- Grade 12 or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
- Mathematics.
- Physical Science.
Certified copies of qualifications and results must be submitted with the application.
Successful applicants must be prepared to complete the full training period specified in the learnership contract.
Auto Electrician Learnership (18.2)

The Auto Electrician Learnership has additional technical education requirements.
Applicants must have Grade 12 or NCV Level 4, together with the following N2 subjects:
- N2 Mathematics.
- N2 Engineering Science.
- N2 Industrial Electronics.
- N2 Electrical Trade Theory.
Applicants must submit certified copies of all relevant qualifications and results.
Successful candidates must commit themselves to the complete training period specified in the learnership contract.
