Anna grills Victoria in preparation for the court case and she cracks under the pressure. Miles has a run in with Doc and Rekere; and tells Doc to stop using Sifiso as a pawn. Kop believes that insurance will cover his lost money, but Prudence tells him otherwise.

Victoria and Miles make a drastic move in order to avoid having Victoria testify against Miles. A smitten Prudence misreads Zolani’s attitude towards her as a romantic affection. The Khuse’s make new rules in order to survive their financial crisis.

Suffocate doesn’t want Niki to go back to work. Zolani desperately tries to do damage control with Doc and Thandeka. Anna and Winston tell Miles that since he won’t accept the deal, their only option is to put Lucilla on the stand.

Lucilla takes the witness stand. Maponya puts pressure on her and she struggles with her guilt and increasing desire to confess to murdering Lesedi. Thandeka puts Zolani in the hot seat, revealing his inadequacies.

Suffocate is experiencing anxiety about leaving Busi with the nanny. Reneilwe starts her first day in the salon. The court doesn’t go very well for Miles and he collapses under cross-examination from Maponya.

Bash is annoyed that Niki stole his job at Kilowatt. Maponya puts pressure on Miles until he cracks.

Bash comes through for Reneilwe and she’s able to start her job at Fats’ salon. Thandeka is suspicious about where Doc got the money to buy Redemption. Maponya delivers his closing arguments and things don’t look good for Miles.

Lucilla discovers that Connie will never find closure if Miles isn’t found guilty. Doc lets rip when he finds out that Thandeka asked Solomon questions behind his back. Caroline is furious when she discovers that Fats is paying for Bulelwa’s beauty course.

Victoria attacks Lucilla and confronts her about the Miles situation. Khamo approaches Mamokete for help to get her stolen property back. Doc feels the heat when Solomon wants to move some money around.

Lucilla is arrested for contempt of court and Miles’s sentencing is postponed. Doc takes strain when Solomon talks about withdrawing his investment from Red Records. Fats gives Toolkit his mother’s wedding ring as surety against the massage table for Bulelwa.

Doc is in a tight position financially and this affects Zolani’s commission. Victoria begs Miles to accept what Lucilla has done. Toolkit’s attempts to worm his way closer to Bulelwa are starting to pay off.

Fats is horrified to discover Toolkit’s plans for Bulelwa. Doc hesitates over appointing Zolani as MD. Lucilla cuts a deal with Maponya and loses Connie forever.

Fats discovers that Toolkit is trying to score points with Bulelwa by giving her Caroline’s ring. Lucilla and her loved ones come to terms with the fact that she’s going to jail. Doc is feeling the pressure from his backers.

Thandeka and Zolani find themselves getting closer and deeper in their romantic connection. Stefanie approaches Zolani to take over from Lucilla at 9-Nine but he is conflicted due to his commitment to Red and the casino deal. Reneilwe is bust by Mamokete for her new smoking habit.
