Lerumo and Phehello come face-to-face, resulting in an interaction which Phehello never expected. Scelo repeatedly appeals to his father’s sense of reason and the response is always the same. Layla plans a surprise for Thembeka which will be waiting for her when she returns from honeymoon.

Anzani gets into a huge fight which leads to two decisions being made – one with dire consequences. Scelo seeks assistance with his family problems which does not have the effect he was hoping for. Zinzile hears her work circumstances are about to radically change.

The Dustbin Man proves, once again, that the police are little match for his ingenuity. A shocking occurrence in the Ngema household leaves Lindiwe fearing for the future. Zinzile discovers that being in close proximity to someone from her past is just as unpleasant as it used to be.

Phehello is finally going to have his revenge for the pain which has tortured him for almost the whole of his life. Scelo is forced to rely on the kindness of a friend and a neighbour becomes suspicious. Mangi is attacked by fears of a possibility which should make him very happy in the end.

Anzani finds herself in a situation she thought she had escaped forever in which she has to attempt to save a life. Gloria receives a warning which, for once, she decides to heed. Dintle crosses a boundary in an attempt to live out her fantasy.

Anzani brings a reign of terror to an end and opens up the possibility for a new chapter in her and Lerumo’s lives. Scelo omits the full truth to cover the fact that he is in dire straits. Circumstances beyond Lucas’s control have him fearing for his safety in prison.

Mangi is taken to his parole hearing and Dintle hears what the outcome is. Kitso makes Scelo an offer which he fears could lead to awkwardness.Gloria has some concerns about Gontse but doesn’t act on them, while Beatrice’s concern for Lerumo causes her to start interfering.

It is a great day for Mangi, but a member of his family is concerned about what it will bring. Mlungisi wants to reach out but is unable to do it in person. Lerumo gives his mother an ultimatum and Gloria has hopes for her daughter.

Mangi makes a shocking discovery and turns down an offer which infuriates Dintle. Lindiwe tries to do something dangerous which Scelo nips in the bud. Ndumiso receives news from one girl about another that has him reeling.

Lucas comes up with a brilliant plan to make money and pitches different versions of it to the warden, the gang leaders and Stokkies. Scelo is excited by a prospect which he believes will solve all his problems but is extremely dangerous. As one door closes for Ndumiso, it appears that another may still be open.

Lucas has a nasty trick up his sleeve and Quinton responds to a desperate plea from Dintle. Zinzile discovers that the clock may be ticking for the chance of her family to be healed. Ndumiso tries to put the past behind him with varying degrees of success.
