Layla is pleased to get what she wants, but disappointed that it has come at a price. Mangi is tasked with proving his commitment through an extremely awkward situation.
Lindiwe gets a new friend but an old one is not too pleased about this. Ndumiso accepts a devastating offer on Quinton’s behalf and Quinton is powerless to stop it.

Layla has to think quickly to explain her actions to two interrogators, and Mangi manages to secure an extramural activity in prison. Lindiwe exploits a worthy situation in order to behave unworthily towards her parents. Ndumiso attempts to spin Kitso a story but ends up guilting her into keeping quiet.

Layla is confronted with a fear which could affect her heart and a threat that could affect her freedom. Lindiwe thinks she is home and dry but she may actually have been caught out. Gloria makes a demand which will cause a major headache for Quinton.

Layla is given two pieces of information which shock and excite her, and Dintle is pleased when she receives unexpected assistance with managing her problem. A former enemy makes a surprising overture to Lindiwe. Quinton finds a way to chase Kwanele away.

Lucas dangles a carrot in front of Dintle which he believes she will find impossible to refuse. Lindiwe rejects an overture, but decides to accept an olive branch. Thembeka becomes suspicious of her fiancé’s dodgy behavior.

Lucas plays off two dangerous opponents against one another and prepares to manipulate a powerful figure of authority. Mlungisi is hurt and Zinzile is upset when Scelo is forced to reveal a reason for Lindiwe’s behaviour. Lerumo gets some good news and Anzani makes a promise in order to get someone off her back.

Lucas proves that diamonds are indeed a girl’s best friend and makes an offer to Warden Vermeulen which he would be foolish to refuse. In order to help a family member, Scelo has to sell out someone else in the family. Anzani realises that returning to normality is going to be far from easy for her.

Lucas enlists the assistance of an authority figure in the hopes of playing an even higher authority. Lindiwe admits to something which places Gloria in a terrible position. Kitso receives an offer, but it comes with a price tag.

Lucas manages to win favour but simultaneously places his and someone else’s lives in potential danger. A horrifying video has Lindiwe contemplating a horrifying act. An unwelcome presence could well end up becoming Anzani and Lerumo’s saviour.

A horrible threat causes Lindiwe to do something which could land her in jail. Lucas plays with fire but is confident it won’t burn him. Kitso overplays her hand which has consequences for her relationship with her new flat mate.

Lindiwe is forced to take a risk which doesn’t pay off. Lucas successfully enlists help on the outside but has to come up with a plan B to ensure success on the inside. Kitso is the recipient of some morally questionable advice.

Lindiwe receives a harsh but deserved punishment while a friend is devastated to find herself being punished unfairly. Layla has set a task which opens up a whole new ‘career’ for her. Kitso finally gets what she wants but hates herself for getting it.

A video is the cause of great anguish and bitter disappointment in the Ngema house. Lucas successfully puts an end to violence and Dintle squashes a threat. A moving offer makes Kitso feel extremely guilty.

Someone is discovered close to death and Lindiwe holds herself responsible. Stokkies has a rude awakening when he realises he is not nearly as important to someone as he had believed. Kitso is caught out just as she is trying to make amends.
