Pastor Mdletshe addresses the community of KwaMashu. Nombuso leads the choir. Mxolisi finds out new information about Richard. Mxolisi and Nosipho discuss a new deal. Pastor Mdletshe assures Manzuza that Xulu will be arrested soon.

Episode 50
Something is bothering Mxolisi. Nosipho and Mastermind spend time together. GC and Thobile fight at the salon. Mangcobo tries to stop Mxolisi who wants to leave the city. Squatters are back at the Xulu place. Thobile and Pastor Mdletshe discuss Xulu.

Episode 51
Pastor Mdletshe leads the protesters. Mxolisi tries to run away from his father after he discovers that Richard crooked him. Protesters and Pastor Mdletshe attack the Xulu’s. Protesters light up a petrol bomb and Pastor Mdletshe is arrested.

Episode 52
Xulu discovers the truth about Richard’s whereabouts. Nkule makes a decision about Ayanda. Pastor Mdletshe and Manzuza have a blowout. Thobile wakes up in Mastermind’s arms. Pastor Mdletshe is released from prison and addresses the community – none of his family members show up. Xulu finally confronts Mxolisi about Richard.

Episode 53
After being beaten to a pulp and getting buried alive, two members of the Xulu family plan their escape. Nkule says a painful goodbye. She is going to Johannesburg. Ayanda toys with Nombuso – he wants her but after she rejected his kiss, he’s not going to push.

Episode 54
Xulu catches Mxolisi and MaNgcobo trying to escape. They fear he might shoot them, but instead, he tells Mxolisi that he wants all the money back, in the form of stolen cars. Everyone learns that Nkule has left town, and Ayanda denies knowing the reason behind this. Xulu tells his wife that they will not be sharing a bed until further notice

Episode 55
Pastor Mdletshe reassures Sbu that he will be protected from Xulu. Smangele and the rest of the choir are upset over Ayanda not involving them in the song choices. A traffic officer flags a terrified Mxolisi down. A panicked MaNgcobo has a serious fallout with Nosipho over Xulu’s decision to put Mxolisi’s life at risk.

Episode 56
Xulu pays an old “friend” a surprise visit, to cut ties… meanwhile Mxolisi victors. Manzuza gives a mind-blowing input in the choir – a nostalgic stunt that will blow everyone away. Mxolisi’s conscience weighs down on him when Nombuso hears about his car theft in the media and expresses her disgust for the thief.

Episode 57
The Xulu family are surprised at the arrival of an unexpected visitor. Mdletshe and Xulu go head-to-head and Mdletshe steps on Xulu’s toes – sinking himself deeper into Xulu’s bad books. Nombuso is conflicted with an inner tension as the son of an enemy is invited to dine with them.

Episode 58
Mkhonto is back from prison and feels welcome in his brothers house. Pastor Mdletshe still feels Xulu has to be taken down. Xulu gives Mkhonto a token of his appreciation. Nkosinathi gets into danger with Xulu.

Episode 59
The Mdletshe family are torn apart by Nkosinathi’s disappearance. Xulu and Mkhonto have a showdown. Nombuso and Ayanda fight to have Mxolisi join the choir.

Episode 60
Mdletshe’s family feels betrayed by God. Nombuso and Mxolisi are spending too much together and someone is jealous. Xulu is keeping a secret from his family. Mkhonto has done what Xulu has always wanted – he’s working for a living. Unfortunately it has led to security guards beating down at his door.

Episode 61
Mkhonto makes a shocking discovery about his brother’s wealth – one that propels him to make a threatening ultimatum. Mxolisi makes Nombuso see something she’s been overlooking. Machines go off at the hospital and the Mdletshe’s are dealt with a major blow regarding Nkosinathi’s state of health.

Episode 62
Mxolisi gets busted by a guard with a gun stealing a car in an underground parking lot. Pastor Mdletshe and Manzuza find themselves receiving serious financial pressure from the hospital and they realise they may be in serious trouble.
Ayanda gets interrogated by the choir members for spending a lot of time with Nombuso and Mxolisi resulting in them feeling alienated.Mkhonto sees red and punches Xulu off his chair to the surprise of the entire family.

Episode 63
The Mdletshe’s are caught between a rock and a hard place where Nkosinathi is concerned. Ayanda has a heart-to-heart with Nkosinathi.
Xulu makes Mkhonto his partner (as a “sign of peace and reconciliation”) but it’s actually to be closer to him so he can get him arrested. Something terrible happens to Nombuso.

Episode 64
Xulu is stunned as ancestors refuse to acknowledge Mxolisi. Pastor Mdletshe’s back is against the wall as Nkosinathi’s life-threatening situation worsens and the bills pile up. The choir is desperate to win the competition, but nervous with Nombuso’s absence – if the choir wins the competition they have a chance at winning a recording deal.. Mkhonto hurts Xulu in a sparring stick fight.
