Volvo Group Southern Africa provides an internship opportunity in the following area: Business Controller at our Assembly Plant.
This internship is situated in Pretoria.

The successful candidate will have exposure to the following areas within Business Control at our Assembly Plant.

• To assist with monthly reporting of financial results.
• To assist with all finance related queries with Accounting Department to ensure accurate reporting.
• To assist with the investment process to secure funds in line with business requirements.
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
• Daily KPI information update and analysing monthly information.
• Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
• Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Assisting in Cost Deployment administration and calculations.
• Inventory control and analysis.
• SCOS vs Actual cost analysis to ensure more accurate estimation preparations.

• Computer Literacy, Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), (Intermediate level of proficiency)
• Time management skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication (written and verbal) skills in English.

• Completed B Com degree or equivalent qualification (preferably B Com in Accounting)
