What Traffic Trainees Do
Traffic Trainees receive practical workplace exposure in traffic management, road safety and transport compliance.
During the programme, trainees may gain exposure to traffic control activities, road safety awareness, public education programmes, vehicle compliance support, municipal traffic duties and general law enforcement support.
This opportunity can help candidates who want to pursue future careers as Traffic Officers, Road Safety Officers, Law Enforcement Officers or Municipal Safety Officials.
What Peace Officers Do
Peace Officers assist with promoting public order, community safety and compliance with municipal by-laws.
Peace Officers may assist with municipal law enforcement, public awareness campaigns, monitoring public spaces, reporting unlawful activities, supporting community safety initiatives and assisting during municipal operations.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification.
0 to 2 years of experience.
Must reside within Mbhashe Local Municipality.
Must be a resident of Dutywa, Willowvale or Elliotdale.
Must have a valid Driverโs Licence Code EB.
An additional diploma or post-school qualification will be an added advantage.
