The Capricorn District Municipality and the National Department of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment (DFFE) have announced opportunities for Waste Campaigners (100 posts) as part of a Youth Empowerment and Development Programme.
Job Overview:
- Positions Available: 100 Waste Campaigner positions.
- Program Duration: Up to 18 months, ending on 31 March 2025.
- Remuneration: Successful participants will receive R224.00 per day.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for these positions, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Qualifications: Hold Environmental Management-related qualifications.
- Citizenship: Be a South African citizen with a valid SA Identity Document.
- Residency: Reside within the jurisdiction of Capricorn District Municipality.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be under the age of 35.
District Municipality Overview:
- Location: Capricorn District Municipality, situated at the heart of the Limpopo Province, Northern side of South Africa.
- Composition: Comprised of five local municipalities – Aganang, Blouberg, Lepelle-Nkumpi, Molemole, and Polokwane, each with differing levels of socio-economic development.
