About the Role
As a Quality Control Intern, you will ensure that food products meet the highest safety and quality standards. You’ll support GMP inspections, assist small businesses in meeting compliance, and contribute to food safety audits and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist SMEs with food safety compliance and documentation
- Support control and storage of all food safety records from relevant SMEs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Prepare and compile reports on internal and external audits
- Deliver food safety training to staff and emerging food businesses
- Conduct assessments on any deviations and initiate corrective actions
- Support development of policies, procedures, and processes
- Identify and report non-conforming products
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Food Safety, Biotechnology, or Food Technology
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and quality control principles
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate about assisting small food businesses
