About the MTPA Graduate Internship Programme 2025/26
The Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) is offering a 12-month Graduate Internship Programme for the 2025/2026 financial year. The programme is designed to provide structured workplace exposure and specialised training to graduates who have completed a Postgraduate Diploma (NQF Level 8) in specific fields of study. The purpose is to enhance employability by providing valuable workplace experience that builds on academic qualifications.
Fields of Study
Applicants must hold a Postgraduate Diploma (NQF Level 8) in one of the following fields:
- Environmental Science
- Wildlife Management
- Tourism and Hospitality Management
- Human Resources Management
- Graphic Design

Internship Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be South African citizens aged between 18 and 35 years
- Hold an NQF Level 8 qualification in one of the fields listed above
- Reside in the Mpumalanga Province
- Be unemployed graduates
