Mossel Bay Municipality, an employer committed to equal employment, invites unemployed South African graduates residing within the Mossel Bay municipal boundaries to apply for the 2025 Internship Programmes in Water & Sanitation (Infrastructure Services) and Strategic Services (Corporate Services).
Internship Application Closing Date: 8 August 2025 (No applications received after 13:00 will be accepted)
Internship Location: Mossel Bay Municipality, Western Cape, South Africa
Water & Sanitation Internship (Infrastructure Services)
Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma or Degree (minimum NQF Level 6) in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Water Care, or related field (completed qualification required at date of application)
- Valid Code B driver’s licence (manual vehicle)
- Fluent in at least two of the official languages of the Western Cape
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Must not have been previously employed as an intern in the Public Sector
- Willing to work overtime
Duration: 12-month contractual appointment with the option to extend up to a maximum of 3 years
Stipend: R9 274.85 per month
Strategic Services Internship (Corporate Services)
Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma or Degree (minimum NQF Level 6) in Public Administration, Public Management, Development Studies, or related field (completed qualification required at date of application)
- Valid Code B driver’s licence
- Fluent in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Must not have been previously employed as an intern in the Public Sector
- Willing to work overtime and over weekends
Duration: 12-month contractual appointment with the option to extend up to a maximum of 3 years
Stipend: R9 274.85 per month
