About the ASSMANG Iron Ore Engineering Learnerships
The 18.2 Learnership Training Programme aims to equip candidates with lifelong technical skills that can be used to benefit themselves, their families, and their communities. Successful applicants will receive structured training in key engineering fields within the mining sector.
Fields of Training Programmes
Learnerships are available in the following trades:
- Instrumentation Mechanician
- Plater/Welder
- Fitter
- Electrician
- Millwright
Entry Level Requirements
Instrumentation Mechanician
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
Plater/Welder
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
- Plater/Welder Engineering N2 Certificate
Fitter
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
- Fitter Engineering N2 Certificate
Electrician
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
- Electrical Engineering N2 Certificate
Millwright
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
- Electrical & Fitter Engineering N2 Certificate
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following:
- Updated CV
- Certified copy of South African ID
- Certified copy of Matric certificate
Preference will be given to candidates from Gamagara and John Taolo Gaetsewe Municipal Areas in the Northern Cape, in line with the Employment Equity Plan.
