About the Sasol Learnership
The learnership offers participants the chance to gain theoretical knowledge and practical workplace experience to become competent Chemical Plant Operators.

Division: Energy Marketing and Sales
Key Responsibilities
As a Chemical Plant Operator Learner, you will:
- Apply emergency procedures and adhere to company safety policies.
- Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments.
- Participate in daily morning meetings to review work assignments.
- Provide regular feedback to supervisors on work progress.
- Contribute to root cause analyses (RCA) and safety improvements.
- Support company goals by meeting deadlines.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards and comply with waste disposal procedures.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must have:
- A National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent, including passes in:
- Technical Mathematics / Mathematics (SG/HG)
- English / Business English (SG/HG)
- Technical / Physical Science (SG/HG)
- OR a combined N3 Certificate with trade-related subjects.
- 0 years’ work experience (entry-level opportunity).
- Willingness to learn and develop in a structured programme.
