University of South Africa (UNISA) Registration Dates for 2026

The University of South Africa (UNISA) has officially released its registration dates for the 2026 academic year. Semester Modules

  • 7 January – 20 February 2026

All-Year Modules

  • Undergraduate qualifications:
    7 January – 20 March 2026
  • Honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas:
    7 January – 31 March 2026

CTA (Certificate in the Theory of Accounting)

  • 7 January – 20 February 2026

Master’s & Doctoral Registration Dates (2026)

Registration for selected master’s and doctoral qualifications will be open during the following periods:

General Master’s & Doctoral Qualifications

  • 7 January – 31 March 2026

Specialised Qualifications

  • MCompt
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Master of Business Leadership (MBL)

Registration dates:

  • 7 January – 21 February 2026

Important Registration Notes

  • Registration is completed online via UNISA’s web registration system.
  • You must be academically admitted before you can register.
