Graduates looking to build a strong career in municipal finance now have an excellent opportunity. Nama Khoi Local Municipality has officially opened applications for two (2) Finance / Treasury Intern positions for 2026, offering structured training and practical exposure within the Financial Services Department.

This internship forms part of the Municipal Finance Management Programme (MFMP) and is aimed at developing future professionals in accounting, finance, auditing, and risk management within local government.


Internship Overview

  • Salary: R100 000 per annum

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Nama Khoi Finance / Treasury Internship Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • A three-year Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in:
    • Accounting
    • Economics
    • Finance
    • Internal Auditing
    • Risk Management
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
  • A Code B driver’s licence will be an added advantage
  • Must meet the minimum competency requirements for the internship programme
