About the Apprenticeship Programme
The Feltex apprenticeship programme focuses on developing highly skilled artisans for the automotive manufacturing environment.
As an apprentice, you will:
- Receive formal Electrical Training at an accredited training centre

- Complete Further Education and Training (technical training)

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- National Senior Certificate (Matric) with Mathematics and Science
AND
- N3 qualification with:
- Electrical Trade Theory
- Mathematics
- Engineering Science
OR
- NCV Level 4 in Electrical

- Be willing to sign a 4-year apprenticeship contract with MERSETA
- Be prepared to travel and train away from home
- Be physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Have good problem-solving skills
- Have strong communication and decision-making abilities

- Be comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment
- Have no fear of heights
- Be prepared to operate and maintain heavy industrial equipment
- Be willing to complete technical college subjects
