This programme forms part of National Treasury’s infrastructure capacity development initiative, aimed at strengthening planning, delivery, and maintenance of infrastructure in the public sector.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be unemployed
- Must be a South African citizen with a valid ID
- Must be under the age of 35
- Must hold a relevant qualification from an accredited university
- Academic qualification must align with professional registration requirements
Relevant professional councils include:
- Engineering Council of South Africa
- South African Council for Planners
- South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions
Registration as a candidate with the relevant council will be an advantage.
A valid Code 08 driver’s licence will also be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
During the internship, graduates will:

- Work with multidisciplinary teams to support municipal infrastructure development
