About the NARYSEC Programme
The National Rural Youth Service Corps (NARYSEC) Programme was established by the Department of Land Reform and Rural Development (DLRRD) to address youth unemployment in rural and farming communities across South Africa.
The programme combines:
- Leadership development
- Community service
- Accredited skills training
- Work readiness preparation
Successful candidates will participate in:
- A 9-week Youth Leadership Development Programme
- Community service activities
- SAQA-accredited training through TVET Colleges and training providers

Qualification

Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 26 years old
- Have Grade 12
- Be medically fit
- Have no criminal record
- Speak and write English fluently
- Be willing to relocate if required

Laboratory Assistance Programme
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Have Grade 12
- Achieve:
- 40% in Mathematics OR
- 50% in Mathematical Literacy
- Achieve:
- 40% in Life Sciences
- 40% in English

Qualification
- National Certificate in Domestic Appliance Repair (NQF Level 3)
Requirements
Applicants must:

- Have Grade 12
- Have Mathematics and Physical Science
- Basic electrical knowledge will be advantageous

- Be unemployed
- Not currently studying
- Be medically fit
