About the Heineken Packaging Learnership Programme
The Heineken Packaging Learnership Programme provides unemployed youth with an opportunity to gain practical workplace training and technical exposure within the beverage manufacturing industry.
Learners will receive hands-on experience in packaging operations and manufacturing processes at the Sedibeng Manufacturing Plant.
What Learners Will Be Trained In
Successful learners will gain skills and competency in:
- Filling and date coding
- Sealing processes
- Packing and unpacking
- Labelling
- First line maintenance
- Problem-solving techniques and methods
- Health and safety procedures
- Quality control processes
- Asset management
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Pure Mathematics as a subject
- English as a subject
Additional Requirements
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Strong academic results
- Technical and mechanical aptitude
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of safe working procedures
- Ability to work under pressure
Important Information
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo formal assessments.
- Candidates must be willing to work shifts and extended hours when required.
