Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 10 or equivalent qualification
- Valid Code 14 driver’s licence with PrDP
- Applicable operator training
- Be physically fit
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar environment
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Operating light and heavy equipment, machinery, trucks, and trailers safely
- Transporting equipment to and from work sites
- Maintaining vacuum and chemical toilets and renewing utility services
- Recording daily water usage reports
- Ensuring machinery and equipment remain in good working condition
- Identifying and resolving operational problems timeously
- Ensuring compliance with governance requirements, OHS Act regulations, by-laws, policies, and procedures
- Preventing and reducing wastage of financial resources
