SACE Internship Opportunities 2026

The South African Council for Educators is inviting committed graduates and students to apply for its Internship Programme 2026.

The programme is open to graduates who have completed their studies at institutions of higher learning, as well as students who require experiential training to obtain their qualifications.

The internship programme will run for 18 months and successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend based on their NQF level.

Monthly Stipend

Successful interns will receive the following monthly stipend:

NQF Level 6: R5 000 per month.

NQF Level 7: R6 500 per month.

NQF Level 8: R7 500 per month.

Applicants must be South African citizens.

Applicants must be unemployed graduates or students requiring experiential training.

Applicants must be 35 years of age or younger.

Applicants must have completed studies at an institution of higher learning.

Applicants must not have previously participated in an internship programme.

Successful applicants will be required to sign an internship contract with SACE for the duration of the programme.
