Eskom Medupi Power Station is inviting applications for the Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme 2026.

Successful candidates will be appointed on a 12-month contract and placed in various administrative roles at Eskom Operations.

About the Youth Employment Service Programme
The Youth Employment Service (YES) is a public-private initiative led by the Presidency to address youth unemployment in South Africa.
Through this programme, Eskom creates work opportunities for unemployed youth in line with the BBBEE definition.
The programme gives young people an opportunity to enter the job market and gain practical work experience in the energy sector.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be South African citizens
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 34
- Must have Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Must not have been employed permanently by a single employer continuously for more than 1 year
- Must not be studying full-time in the year of employment
- Must not have participated in or registered on the YES initiative before
