Elangeni TVET College Graduate Internship Programme 2026

Elangeni TVET College and ETDP SETA are offering unemployed graduates an opportunity to gain practical workplace experience through a 24-month internship programme.

Successful applicants will undergo structured on-the-job development in technical, professional and public-service skills related to their qualifications.

The programme is aimed at graduates aged between 18 and 35 who hold a relevant NQF Level 6 diploma and have not yet gained formal work experience.

Finance, Supply Chain Management or Public Management Internship

The successful intern may gain workplace exposure to financial administration, procurement, supply chain processes, records management and public-service administration.

Information Technology Internship

The successful intern may gain practical experience in ICT support, hardware and software administration, user support, systems maintenance and general technical services.

Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or Graphic Design Internship

The successful intern may gain exposure to communication, content development, marketing administration, public relations activities, media support and visual communication.

Human Resource Management Internship

The successful intern may gain workplace experience in recruitment administration, personnel records, employee support, training coordination and general Human Resources functions.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens.
  • Be between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Have completed Matric.
  • Hold a relevant National Diploma at NQF Level 6.
  • Have no previous work experience.
  • Be interested in skills development, education and training.
  • Be available for the full 24-month programme.
  • Submit a completed and signed New Z83 form.
  • Submit a detailed Curriculum Vitae.
  • Apply before the closing date and time.

A valid driverโ€™s licence will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirement

No previous work experience is required.

The internship is specifically designed to help unemployed graduates gain workplace exposure and improve their prospects of entering the formal job market.

The programme provides temporary workplace experience and does not guarantee permanent employment after completion.

Monthly Internship Stipend

Successful diploma graduates will receive:

R6 000 per month
