About the ABSA Junior Learnership Programme
The ABSA Junior Learnership Programme is designed to provide young South Africans with practical workplace experience and structured learning within the banking and financial services sector.
Learners will participate in training and workplace activities aimed at building skills in:
- Banking operations
- Customer service
- Financial administration
- Workplace professionalism
- Business operations
The programme combines practical workplace exposure with learning interventions to help participants develop professionally and improve employability.
Responsibilities
Successful learners will be expected to:
Workplace Experience
- Attend and participate in workplace activities
- Complete tasks aligned with development objectives
- Gain practical banking sector exposure
Learning and Development
- Attend all training interventions
- Participate in skills development activities
- Complete learning assignments and assessments
Customer and Team Support
- Provide support to customers where required
- Assist team members with operational duties
- Contribute to overall team performance
Administration Duties
- Complete administrative tasks
- Assist with tracking and reporting activities
