Armscor invites eligible South African students to submit applications for the Bursary Programme for the academic year 2025.

Bursary application closing date is 28 February 2025.

Bursaries will be awarded to students in fields that align with the future needs of the defence industry, including:

To be eligible for the Armscor Bursary, applicants must:

Be a South African citizen
Have completed Matric
Have achieved a minimum of levels 5, 6, and 7 in Mathematics, Physical Science, and English in Matric
Be studying or intend on studying full-time towards a qualification in one of the listed fields in 2025
Be enrolled or planning to enroll at a recognized tertiary institution in South Africa
Have a strong academic record
Be interested in pursuing a career in the defence industry
Be from a previously disadvantaged background

Submit the following documents along with your completed application form:

Certified copy of ID document
Certified copy of Matric certificate
Full academic record (if currently studying)
Proof of registration (if currently enrolled)
Certified copies of parents’ or guardians’ ID documents
Proof of household income (latest payslips, affidavit if unemployed, proof of SASSA grant, or death certificate if deceased)
Cover letter explaining your field of study and motivation
