About the ArcelorMittal Production Learnership
Successful applicants will enter into a 36-month Learner’s Agreement, where they will receive structured training focused on the steel production process.
The learnership follows an outcome-based training approach, combining:
- Institutional (theoretical) training
- On-the-job practical training
- Ongoing assessments and progress monitoring
This programme is designed to equip learners with industry-relevant skills and workplace experience that can lead to future employment opportunities within the manufacturing sector.

Applicants must be willing and able to train at the Vanderbijlpark operations site for the full duration of the programme.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered, applicants must have a complete Grade 12 (Matric) qualification with at least the following minimum results:
- English: 45%
- Mathematics: 40%
OR - Mathematics Literacy: 50%
