Aurecon Bursary Programme for 2017
Aurecon provides engineering, management and specialist technical services for government and private sector clients globally. The group, with an office network extending across 23 countries, has been involved in projects in more than 70 countries across Africa, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
Aurecon bursaries are awarded to deserving students for studies at various tertiary institutions in fields specifically related to the company’s activities. Students from approved universities which offer programmes that lead to professional careers in engineering are considered, with bursaries available for students studying towards a BSc or BEng in the fields of Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
We fund up to R90,000.00 (subject to change) per annum to every bursar to support them in their studies. We also provide practical training applicable to the qualification, as required by their educational institution.
The bursary will be renewed annually if the student’s academic performance is satisfactory
Requirements to be considered for Aurecon’s Bursary Programme are as follows:
Grade 12 Students
- You must be a South African citizen
- Grade 12 requirements: Mathematics (HG) and Physical Science (HG)
- Able to provide proof of “official “current academic results. You will require a 5 symbol or above for Mathematics and Physical Science
- Be accepted by the chosen university for the specific course as mentioned above
1st, 2nd, 3rd Year University Students
- You must be a South African citizen
- National Senior Certificate or Equivalent
- Students must obtain and maintain a minimum of 70% aggregate to be considered
