About the Visiting Associate Internship Programme
The BCG Visiting Associate Internship is designed for top-performing students who are passionate about problem-solving, strategy, and impact. Interns work in collaborative consulting teams, gaining real-world experience while contributing meaningfully to client projects.
During the programme, you’ll experience BCG’s unique culture of innovation, analytical rigor, and continuous learning — with the possibility of receiving a full-time consulting offer upon successful completion.
What you will do
As a Visiting Associate Intern at BCG, you will:
- Work in cross-functional consulting teams to solve complex client challenges
- Analyse data, build hypotheses, and develop actionable recommendations
- Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders and support implementation
- Drive independent workstreams while contributing to overall project success
Minimum requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Currently studying towards a Bachelor’s, Honours, or Master’s degree
- Must be in their final year of study in 2026
- Strong academic performance with proven analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Minimum cumulative university GPA of 68%
- Pure Mathematics (Matric): 65% or higher
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work in diverse teams
Employment Equity: Preference will be given to South African citizens and permanent residents, in line with employment equity requirements.
