ABOUT FAIS OMBUD
The Office of the Ombud for Financial Services Providers (FAIS Ombud) is established in terms of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 37 of 2002 (the FAIS Act).Its objective is to consider and dispose of complaints in a procedurally fair, informal, economical and expeditious manner and by reference to what is equitable in all circumstances. The FAIS offices are in the east of Pretoria in Gauteng.In order to discharge its mandate, the FAIS Ombud seeks to appoint Graduate Trainees as part of the Graduate Recruitment Programme.
ABOUT THE GRADUATE PROGRAMME
This is a structured programme specifically designed to produce a pipeline of competent trainee entrants to the labour market.Duration – The duration of the programme is twelve (12) months.Roll out of the Programme: Recommended candidates will be given an opportunity to learn under a dedicated mentor.Graduates will be assigned to various Departments, based on their qualifications and aspirations, and exposed to various competency-based training during the duration of the twelve-month programme. Graduates will be based in the following Departments:
