The intention is to qive practical work experience to those students who require In-Service Training to obtain their qualification and those recently graduated but unemployed and require exposure in a work environment

Youth from all Race and Gender categories are encouraged to apply for the internship. Preference will be given to youth with disabilities.Successful candidates will be placed in an of the Departments Regions Ekurhuleni, Tshwane, Sedibeng, West Rand and Johannesburg where the need has been identified and will be expected to enter a 24-month contract that is anticipated to commence between April and July 2023.

How to apply

Applications should include:
The new Z83 application form, CV with certified copies of relevant Qualification and ID document. Application forms are obtainable from Department of Social Development’s regional offices and institutions. Students should be prepared to be placed throughout all regions and institutions within the Gauteng Department of Social Development. No incomplete faxed or emailed applications shall be considered. All applications should be submitted to the nearest Social Development office or institution.
