Fields Covered by the Glencore Bursary 2026
Bursaries will be awarded for undergraduate studies in the following fields:
- Industrial Psychology
- Occupational Hygiene
- Rock Engineering
What the Bursary Covers
The Glencore Bursary will provide financial assistance for:
- Registration fees
- Tuition fees
- Prescribed textbooks
- Meals and accommodation
- Financial assistance for the purchase of a personal computer (if prescribed by the university)
Shortlisted candidates will undergo assessments and interviews as part of the selection process.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria:
- Must have completed Matric.
- Must be studying or intend to study towards an undergraduate qualification in one of the listed fields.
- Must be entering 1st or 2nd year of study in 2026.
- Must have achieved a minimum Level 6 in English and Mathematics.
- Must be studying at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa.
- Must NOT be receiving any other bursary funding.
Failure to meet all requirements may result in disqualification.
Required Supporting Documents
Submit clear certified copies of the following documents:
- South African ID document
- Matric certificate
- Latest academic transcripts (if currently studying)
Incomplete applications may be disqualified.
