Greater Letaba Municipality invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Finance Internship Programme 2025.

Greater Letaba Municipality is inviting applications for Finance Internships in their Budget and Treasury Office. This 24-month structured programme is a fantastic opportunity to gain real-world experience while working towards a Municipal Finance Management Programme (MFMP) Certificate.

Internship Overview

• Position: Finance Interns (3 posts)
• Contract Duration: 24 months
• Stipend: R100,000 per annum

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in:
  • Accounting
  • Auditing
  • Finance-related fields
• Must be a South African citizen
• Unemployed and must not have previously participated in a similar internship

Responsibilities

Selected interns will:

• Sign an internship agreement as part of their employment contract
• Participate in the Municipal Finance Management Internship Programme (MFMIP)
• Gain exposure to:
  • Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA)
  • GRAP Standards
  • Budgeting, Auditing, and Financial Reporting
• Receive high-quality training designed to boost employability and develop professional skills
• Complete the programme with a Municipal Finance Management Programme (MFMP) Certificate
