Hessequa Local Municipality invite students to submit applications for the Bursary Programme for the academic year 2024.
Bursary application closing date is 31 January 2024.

- Supply Chain Management
Bursary Coverage and Selection:
- The bursary will cover one year of study.
- Successful candidates will be contacted, and if no feedback is received within 30 working days after the closing date, the application should be regarded as unsuccessful.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria:
- South African citizenship.
- Reside within the Hessequa Municipal area in the Western Cape.
- Between 17 and 35 years old.
- Completed Matric.
- Studying or intending to study towards a Degree in one of the specified fields in 2024.
- Registered to study at an accredited tertiary institution in South Africa.
- Strong academic record.
- Not receiving another bursary award or NSFAS funding.
- Desire to uplift and change the community.
- Financial need.
- Students with disabilities and historically disadvantaged students are encouraged to apply.

- Submit clear copies of required supporting documents along with the application form.
Required Supporting Documents:
- ID document (certified copy: not older than 3 months)
- Matric certificate
- Proof of qualification/latest examination results
- Proof of tertiary registration (on institution’s letterhead)
- Proof of residential address (recent municipal account)
- Parents or guardians proof of income (latest payslips if employed: certified copy, affidavit if unemployed, etc.)
- Proof of disability, if applicable (letter from a medical doctor confirming permanent disability)
- Comprehensive Curriculum Vitae
