What You Will Learn
As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in:
Financial & Compliance Support:
- Monitoring financial disclosures from political parties
- Assisting with funding allocation processes
- Supporting financial reporting and reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate records of funding and compliance
Governance & Regulatory Exposure:
- Assisting with compliance monitoring
- Supporting audit and risk management processes
- Conducting research on political funding regulations
- Contributing to reporting and regulatory frameworks
Administrative Support:
- Preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Minute taking and documentation
- Managing filing systems and records
- Coordinating meetings and stakeholder engagements
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this internship, applicants must:
- Have Grade 12 (Matric)
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Accounting
- Be computer literate (MS Office, especially Excel)
- Have good communication skills (written and verbal)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be South African citizens
- Be 35 years or younger
- Be unemployed
- Not have previously worked in their field of study
- Not have participated in an internship before
