iMasFinance is offering a 12-month Learning and Development Internship within its Human Resources department at the companyโ€™s head office in Centurion.

The opportunity is aimed at one unemployed candidate from designated groups who wants to gain practical experience in learning, development, training administration and learner support within the financial services sector.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have a three-year Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Development or a related qualification.

Relevant work experience will be advantageous but is not stated as a compulsory requirement.

A valid driverโ€™s licence will also be an advantage.

Applicants should have good verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities and high attention to detail and accuracy.

Other Requirements

Candidates must be unemployed and must not be involved in other studies for the duration of the internship.

Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups, with specific emphasis on female candidates and persons with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will assist with:

  • Administration of employee training and development interventions.
  • Capturing and maintaining training records.
  • Recruitment and onboarding of learners and interns.
  • Providing learner support to help participants complete their programmes.
  • Tracking learner schedules and monitoring progress.
  • General learning and development administration.

What the Internship Offers

The programme provides continuous coaching, mentoring and on-the-job training.

Successful candidates will also gain exposure to learning, training and skills development activities within the financial services sector.

Monthly Allowance

The successful intern will receive:

R6,000 per month

The internship runs for 12 months.
