ISFAP (Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme Foundation) invites South African unemployed youth to apply for the Fundraising and Business Development Internship Programme 2026.

This exciting 12-month internship offers young graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fundraising, marketing, stakeholder engagement, and business development within a social impact organisation.


About the Internship Programme

The ISFAP internship is designed to provide practical workplace exposure in communication, partnerships, and fundraising strategy execution.

Programme Details:

  • Position: Fundraising and Business Development Intern
  • Duration: 12 Months
  • Location: Bryanston (8 Anslow Lane, Gauteng)
  • Contract Type: Fixed-term internship

This programme is ideal for candidates interested in non-profit work, marketing, and social impact careers.


Key Responsibilities

As an intern, you will be involved in:

  • Assisting in creating and scheduling digital content
  • Supporting marketing and communication material development
  • Contributing to internal and external communication initiatives
  • Assisting with campaign execution and brand visibility
  • Supporting event coordination and stakeholder engagement
  • Tracking and reporting on marketing performance metrics

Minimum Requirements

To apply, candidates must:

  • Have Grade 12 or a Bachelor’s Degree in:
    • Marketing
    • Communications
    • Public Relations
    • Or a related field
  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be between 18 and 34 years old
  • Not have held a full-time professional role before
  • Preferably not have participated in an internship or learnership before
  • Live within 50 km of Bryanston
  • Not be currently studying full-time
  • Be available to commit for the full internship duration

Additional Requirements

Applicants should also demonstrate:

  • Strong interest in fundraising and social impact
  • Good administrative and organisational skills
  • Research and analytical ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
