The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Department of Social Development is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for its 2025/2026 Internship Programme. This 12-month internship is aimed at helping young people in KZN gain real workplace experience, build their CVs and improve their chances of permanent employment.
Successful applicants will sign a 12-month contract and receive a monthly stipend of R6 000.00.

Who Can Apply?
To qualify for this internship, applicants must:
- Be unemployed graduates residing in KwaZulu-Natal
- Have completed a 3-year Degree or National Diploma from a recognised University or University of Technology
- Never have participated in any government internship programme before (National, Provincial or Local)
- Be computer literate
- Be prepared to undergo a structured interview
- Be willing to relocate to any district office if required
- Preference will be given to:
- Persons with disabilities
- Applicants residing within the specific district where placement is offered
