The National Library of South Africa (NLSA) invites applications from suitably qualified persons for appointment on a six-month fixed-term contract. The successful individual will be based at the Pretoria Campus. The successful candidate will report to the Manager: Human Resources Management.Position Title: Human Resources Management TraineeDuration: 6 Month Fixed Term ContractReference Number: 01/02/2024Stipend: R 5 700.00 per monthResponsibilities:
Ensure that documentation for all new employees is in order, duly signed and completed in full, in line with the Human Resources policies and procedures.Ensure that all information and documentation in respect of terminated employees are processed.Compile and capture statistics, reports and any other documentation as requested by Management.Assist employees with queries, including but not limited to employee benefits and general employment queries.Assist and support the HRM team with HRM functions (recruitment and selection, performance management, training and development, wellness, etc.).Assist and support the EPWP and internship projects.Deal with confirmation of employment queries received, including but not limited to, telephonic confirmations, confirmation letters and certificates of service.Assist during audits.Perform monthly inputs control for payroll.Ensure that personnel files are complete, and records are kept up-to date.Perform general administration duties.Attend to the administration of the human resources information system.Minute taking during HR related meetings.
Requirements:National Diploma (NQF level 6) or Degree in:
Human Resources Management/Development,Industrial Psychology,Business Administrationor related
Experience:
Experience in the Human Resources Management field will be advantageous
