The North West Parks & Tourism Board invites unemployed youth in South Africa to submit applications for the Learnership Programme 2024 .

Stipend: Work Integrated Learning (WIL) – R3,500.00

Duration: 12 months

The North West Parks & Tourism Board is offering an opportunity for Work Integrated Learning (WIL) or practical experience, which is a prerequisite for completing an Occupational Based qualification in the field of Conservation.

About North West Parks & Tourism Board:

The North West Parks and Tourism Board (NWP&TB) was established by the NWPTB Act 2 of 2022. It is registered as a Section 3C state-owned entity and reports to the Department of Environment, Conservation and Tourism (DEDECT) in the North West Province. The board’s vision is to create a sustainable biodiversity and tourism economy that creates jobs and protects the environment. Their mission is to uplift the lives of the province’s people through the management of state-owned protected areas, fostering sustainability and growth in an inclusive biodiversity and tourism economy.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants aged between 18 and 35 years are invited to apply for Work Integrated Learning (WIL) or practical experience. The opportunity is for those who require WIL to complete their qualification with recognized public tertiary institutions for the following field of study:
