Internship Overview

This internship programme is designed to give unemployed graduates practical workplace experience in Human Resource Management and Administration. Successful candidates will gain exposure to the full HR lifecycle and develop essential administrative and organisational skills.


Key Responsibilities

As part of the programme, interns will be exposed to:

  • Recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Employee records management
  • Employee wellness and performance management
  • Employee relations and offboarding processes
  • HRIS (Human Resource Information System) administration

Learning & Development Exposure

Interns will also gain valuable experience in:

  • Learnership coordination (recruitment, onboarding, training, reporting)
  • Training and development administration
  • LMS (Learning Management System) administration
  • Training course coordination
  • EE & Skills Forum participation
  • Internal HR communication writing

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications (Essential)

  • A completed 3-year National Diploma or Degree in:
    • Human Resource Management
    • Administration
    • Industrial Psychology

Experience

  • No experience required (ideal for unemployed graduates)

Knowledge (Advantageous)

  • Employment Equity Act (EEA)
  • Skills Development Act (SDA)
  • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
  • SETA and SAQA regulations
