About the Millwright Apprenticeship
RBCT is offering a 4-year Millwright Apprenticeship Programme aimed at developing technically skilled artisans who can contribute to plant reliability, safety and operational excellence.
Millwrights are responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal plant performance.
What You Will Be Required To Do
Successful apprentices will:
- Commit to and successfully complete the 4-year apprenticeship (Company/SETA aligned)
- Ensure continuous optimisation of plant processes and equipment
- Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies
- Develop machine-specific technical competence
- Support safe, reliable and cost-effective plant operations
This programme combines theoretical learning with hands-on practical training in a heavy industrial environment.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have one of the following:
- Matric with Mathematics, Physical Science and English, or
- Matric with Technical Mathematics, Technical Science and English, or
- NCV NQF Level 4, or
- N3 qualification
Candidates must meet academic requirements and demonstrate readiness for a demanding technical programme.
