Purpose of the Customer Experience Centre Internship
The Road Accident Fund is offering the Customer Experience Centre Internship to unemployed graduates who want to gain practical experience in claims administration and client support.
The internship will run for a period of 18 months.
A verification process will be undertaken to check whether applicants have previous work experience anywhere within South Africa.
Work-Based Exposure
Interns may gain exposure to:
Consultation and assisting with claimant queries.
Providing information to claimants.
Facilitating the signing of offers from the region.
Attending outreach events where required.
Onboarding and registration of new claims.
Verification and validation of new claims.
Assessing the nature of accidents in claims to establish RAF liability.

Purpose of the Claims Investigator Internship
The Road Accident Fund is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for the Claims Investigation Internship.
This internship gives graduates practical exposure to claims investigation, evidence gathering, accident assessment and investigation reporting.
The programme is aimed at unemployed graduates between the ages of 18 and 25.
Work-Based Exposure
Interns may gain exposure to:
Tracing insured drivers and witnesses.
Obtaining statements.
Drafting accident scene sketch plans.
Conducting inspections in loco.
Participating in the assessment process of investigations.
Identifying and escalating fraud and corruption cases.
Handling PAIA-related matters.
Verifying attorney documentation.
Gathering evidence and recording statements correctly.
Preparing clear investigation reports.
Basic exposure to Loss of Support analysis.
